Brent Bates is a member of Bates Trucking’s Executive Staff, the country’s largest black-owned solid waste company. Brent has over a decade of experience in the sanitation industry, where he has held multiple leadership positions, including overseeing the largest residential operation in the company. Brent has worked with the National Park Services on the White House Lawn for the past decade with their Easter, Fourth of July, and SXSW, plus other events open to non-White House contractors, coordinating the delivery logistics and removing equipment, and managing crews during events. In addition, he has been a part of several significant acquisitions and oversees three operations while also addressing the finances of each.
